Amavasya which falls in the month of Magha is called Mauni Amavasya. According to the Indian Vedic Almanac, Mauni Amavasya is coming on Friday 24 January 2020. On this day, the Sun will be in Shravan Nakshatra and the most important thing is that on this day the sign of Saturn is also changing. Saturn is changing its zodiac sign after two and a half years and is going to enter Capricorn. Mauni Amavasya will start on January 24 morning at 2.16 am and will end the next day i.e. January 25th at 3.11 am.
